オラクル・コーポレーションは、小売業の利益最適化ソリューションのプロバイである非公開企業、Profit Logic,Incと買収の最終的な合意をしたと発表した。
Profit Logicのソフトウェアは顧客の需要傾向を分析し、小売業者が品揃え、価格設定、商品化計画を決定するのに役立つ。ProfitLogicの現顧客には、American Eagle Outfitters, Ann Taylor, Bloomingdale’s, The Children’s Place Retail Stores, Famous Footwear, JC Penny, Marshall Field’s, Nordstrom, Reitmans, ShopKo Stores, Toys R Us他、多くの小売業者がある。
